It's all in the title. I'm working to provide critical readings of every Punisher comic ever written. And, when the mood strikes, I dip in and out of various Chuck Dixon comics.
I don't do this because I want to. I do this because I have to.
This is the War Journal. Fill your hand you sonofabitch.

Entertaining minus the wokeness
I wanted to hate this podcast but the host actually is smart, funny, and entertaining. He gets kind of annoying when he starts in with the deconstructist / Marxist critiques of 90s-era comic books but, in the end, he’s still fair to the material. Overall I find his reads of the Dixon Punisher run comics insightful and, at times, hilarious. Whenever he does the Punisher voice it’s comedy gold. Even the most hardcore Punisher fans have to concede the absurdity/irony inherent in the character—especially during the 90s—and this podcast does a great job calling out wackiness and outlandishness in all its hysterical glory. I hope this guy covers every Punisher comic from the 90s and thereafter.
