All Things Pelvic Floor With Dr Lauren Jordan
Dr. Lauren Jordan graduated from Logan University in 2018 after completing her Bachelor of Arts in Exercise Science from Monmouth College in Monmouth, Illinois. Following a number of years where she was working for a high-level clinic in Troy, Missouri, she and her husband Dean decided to come back home to central Illinois where they were both raised. Bloomington is now home again and where Lauren and Dean are raising their little boy, Jeremy.
Dr. Jordan utilizes manual chiropractic adjustments, functional rehabilitation, and functional movement assessments as the foundation of her care. Dr. Jordan has distinguished herself by becoming an expert in the treatment of pregnant women, postpartum women, women athletes, and pediatric patients through continued education courses.
In her free time, Dr. Jordan can be found spending time with her little one, drinking a good cup of coffee and watching The Office, channeling her competitive side over a round of golf, or exercising outside.
Dr. Jordan is very excited to be exclusively working back “home” in Bloomington, Illinois at Jordan Spine & Rehab Center!

Christian Unity Through Self-discovery
This week Doug, Sheila and Fr Mitch discuss the celebration of the week of prayer for Christian Unity through the Catholic Church. They discuss religion with the root meaning to connect again, should be the path to connection. They discuss ways we can connect through faith and the ways that our modern world makes connection difficult. They talk about the roadblocks to unity such as self consciousness (self centeredness), scapegoating and fear. Doug laments about the chaos that seems to be happening all around us and Fr Mitch reminds us that chaos has always been with us and that any sense of control has been an illusion all along. They talk about the ultimate good news that God loves us and promised us a future. Our whole life is a participation in Gods life. We hope you enjoy this episode as we prepare for the next Way retreat coming up on April 2.

Dr Rebecca on the Power of Authenticity and Connection
In today’s episode we talk to Dr Rebecca Furlano, functional medicine practitioner. Dr Rebecca talks to us about the functional medicine perspective for treatment of anxiety and depression. We discuss the damaging stigma surrounding mental illness and feelings in general.
There is a strong need for all of us to come into a deep understanding of our own weaknesses, woundedness and shame triggers in order to live authenticity and treat one another well. Dr Rebecca talks about how to address these things as well as what foods are gasoline for an inflamed system and what foods and supplements can work like water to put the flames out.
Hope you enjoy this one as much as we did!

Hitting Bottom
Today’s episode was a long time coming! Sheila Doug and Fr Mitch start by completely dodging the question; “Where have you been for the last 6 months?”
Life has been difficult for the whole world and we do not pretend to have all the answers, but we are willing to get together and talk about the questions. Over the last six months we’ve experienced spiritual dryness, sickness and the heartbreak of losing close loved ones. We’ve also started businesses and planned retreats. We’ve experienced depression and anxiety just like the rest of the world. What we didn’t do was honor our commitment to get together and talk about it. But we’re back! Please forgive the technical difficulties. Today we talked about what it feels like to hit the bottom and then find a deeper meaning waiting for us there. We are, as a nation, battling depression anxiety and a search for meaning in life. We hope you enjoy this conversation as much as we did. As it turns out, it really does help to talk about it.
