The Daleks' Master Plan (Part One) aka "The Daleks V Some Mice"

Sorry, is this thing still on?
After a hospital-based interlude, Beth and David are back, and SO ARE THE DALEKS!
There's thirsting over the very sexy Nicholas Courtney, a brief dive into David's childhood hallucinations, and Beth laughing at Katarina's floating corpse in space (RIP).
Plus, some thoughts on Varada Sethu's announcement/the recent Millie Gibson press debacle, and a visit from Cheryl Tweedy in Greece.
Beth and David are back next Wednesday (providing there's no hospital visits) - in the meantime, you can get in touch via @whowatchpodcast, or send them some love via email - thewhowatchpodcast@gmail.com.

The Myth Makers aka "What Could Kill Off Katarina?"

    Goodbye sweet Vicki!
Beth and David bring you the first of many missing serials this season - The Myth Makers.
Wonder would happen if you mixed the Greeks, a companion exit, a 16-year-old with the face of a middle aged man, and a bloody massive horse? Wonder no longer.
Get ready for discussions about historical companions, a sad goodbye to the icon that is Maureen O'Brien, and a seemingly endless list of things that would kill off poor Katarina.
Beth and David are back next Wednesday (ish) - in the meantime, you can get in touch via @whowatchpodcast, or send them some love via email - thewhowatchpodcast@gmail.com.

Galaxy 4 and Mission To The Unknown aka "Rill With A Drill"

    Did someone say SEASON THREE?!
Beth and David return for Season Three of Doctor Who, with not one, but TWO stories under their belt!
There's the beautiful Drahvins, the wedding cake-esque Chumblies, and a Body Shop (RIP) party/Mother's Meeting in space for the Mission To The Unknown.
Plus, there's a discussion about some...choice words from Peter Purves, and there's preperation for ar Maureen's swansong.
Massive thanks to the gorgeous people of the University of Central Lancashire for recreating the entire (!) Mission To The Unknown, which you can watch for free on the official Doctor Who YouTube channel.

The Time Meddler aka "Curry Sauce All Over Your Hi-Fi"

Curry sauce. All over your Hi-Fi.
Beth and David thrilled to get to the finale of Season Two of Doctor Who - mainly so they can put their trotters up for a few weeks. But before then, there's an excellent, brilliant piece of television to get to.
Expect to hear another appalling accent, love for Mother Billie Piper, siblings, Speedos, and a philosophical discussion about what the point of The Doctor is.
Plus, a discussion about the new broadcast times for Doctor Who, and a giggle at THAT Tom Baker video.
Make sure you subscribe for new episodes - Beth and David are back on Good Friday with your usual betwix series gift of a Bloopers reel...

The Chase aka "Tamera Boutros Boutros-Ghali"

The Chase aka "Tamera Boutros Boutros-Ghali"

A moment of silence, please, for Ian and Babs.
Beth and David are simultaneously thrilled and absolutely devo'd at The Chase. Thrilled because it's an absolute banger of a story, devo'd because they're losing two of the best companions of all time (and space). Plus, David thought there'd be more Bradley Walsh references and there weren't.
But before they get to their happy ending, there's lots happening! There's a screaming Irish ghost, an appalling American accent by Peter Purves, Hammer Horror, even more Peter Purves, and an unknowing flash forward to Daleks In Manhatten.
Make sure you subscribe for new episodes - the gang are back next Wednesday with the finale of Season Two, The Time Meddler.

Swampfortress ,

What a treat this podcast is!

I’ve recently started a watch though of all of classic Doctor Who in honor of the 60th anniversary. There were plenty of podcasts out there for the new series, but for the classic series and in order, it was few and far in between. Luckily, I found this podcast, and it is everything I’m looking for! The hosts have a great interplay and are knowledgeable about the franchise. There is excellent episode by episode discussion, trivia, and behind the scenes details. And each episode is capped off by some fun segments such as “favorite background character.” I tore through the releases episodes in one day and cannot wait for more.
