Very insightful podcast, it shows the other side of a topic that’s otherwise hidden from public view.
thought provoking
I don’t know if this podcast made me *agree* with JK (and I don’t think that was necessarily the intent), but it was excellent to listen to. A thoughtful reflection of cancel culture, doing what you believe is right, and questioning your own motivations and beliefs. A very “gray” conversation in a world that’s increasingly black and white.
An urgently needed perspective
Rational and sane dialogue for anyone willing to patiently listen and learn. Believe what you believe but we all grow by listening and learning. I’m a conservative liberal and a liberal conservative. Yes, I can be both. I’m a devout Christian, blood-bought follower of Christ. And I’m on a quest to learn and understand others who vehemently oppose my beliefs. I did not allow my kids to read/watch HP because of my understanding of Scripture. I did not campaign to burn JKR’s books or boycott her in anyway. If I had to do it over again, I’m not sure what, if anything, I’d change. And after hearing this series, I see I don’t agree with JKR on much of what she said. But I definitely see she is a deep thinker, a logical woman, and absolutely not a bigoted person. I have gained information, understanding and respect for her, the interviewer, the individuals interviewed and the topics covered here. If any of this describes you, this is a podcast series for you.
