Lauren Farricker shares a deep discussion with Casey Williams. Casey is a petreprenuer, a staple of the dog rescue community and a pitbull advocate. She created The Gentle Pit with one unique goal: to restyle rescue and rebrand pit bulls through beautiful design. Using gentle branding they seek to attract all women even if they don’t—yet—own or love a pit bull. And that’s precisely the point. The Gentle Pit hopes to assimilate pit bulls into typical dog culture.

In this episode, Lauren shares a story about a dog named Amos who attended classes at both Cal Berkley and Yale University. Jeffrey Rudolph, the President of the California Science Center, was the owner of the incredible Amos. When Rudolph and his housemates attended Yale, Amos would navigate campus going from class to class. Upon graduation from Yale, the School of Organization and Management read Amos a commendation at graduation and created a cap and a “diploma” for him.
