Great listen
I have never really taken the time to get into sci-fi. I came into this experience skeptical and unsure of what I was getting into. Aliens and such never particularly peaked my interest.
After listening, I have a completely different feeling. Josh’s descriptive writing and audio sensation captivated me immediately. I have obsessively listened since I first started the journey with Danny and friends. This story has placed me as a character among the group, seeing through Danny’s eyes and feeling what Danny feels. This coming of age story both brings me back to aspects of my teenage angst while simultaneously allowing me to empathize with Danny’s individual personhood and feelings. Each character’s personality is differentiated masterfully, and every location is painted with vivid detail.
Couldn’t recommend this enough.
Addicting & Fun!
I’m having so much fun listening to this book! With Josh’s descriptive writing, great storytelling and music, I really feel like I’m watching a wild 80’s sci-fi movie as I listen. This book inspires me to want to write my own story. I can’t wait for the next episode to come out!!
:)
If I wanted to listen to my favorite Christian band dudes cuss, I’d listen to Bad Christian!
Just kidding. This is great. The music is super nice and it’s good to have a podcast that’s more in the audiobook format. I think I hate the way Josh just said “moisture” tho
