The Congressional Hearing on July 26, 2023, focused on Unidentified Aerial Phenomena (UAPs) and featured testimonies from witnesses Ryan Graves, David Grusch, and Cdr. David Fravor. However, many critics argue that the hearing was ultimately a waste of time. They believe that despite the intriguing nature of UAPs, the hearing failed to provide any concrete evidence or conclusive answers regarding the origin or nature of these phenomena. While the witnesses' testimonies were fascinating, they offered subjective accounts and personal experiences rather than definitive proof. As a result, skeptics argue that the hearing lacked the necessary scientific approach and evidence-based investigation to move the discussion forward on a substantive level. Ultimately, the hearing left many unresolved questions and failed to provide any meaningful progress in understanding UAPs.

Greg Lawson has spent much of his adult life exploring strange places. From the first Russian colony in Three Saints Bay, Alaska to the pyramids of Egypt, he has explored paranormal hot spots in over 40 countries. He is a career law enforcement officer with over 30-years of experience and currently serves as a patrol lieutenant. He is a lifetime member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW). Greg has a master’s degree in education from Texas State University where he studied Complex Adaptive Human Systems (CAHS). He also specializes in investigative procedures and teaches these skills to Texas law enforcement officers and paranormal investigators. He is an international lecturer and the author of seven books, three addressing the paranormal: How to Be a Paranormal Detective, Diaries of a Paranormalist, and his latest book is: Roswell: The After-Action Report.

Ben Moss is MUFON’s Chief Field Investigator in Virginia and a member of the rapid deployment Star Team (Strike Team Area Research)l He is a guest expert on History’s Hangar 1 TV show, and has written numerous articles for the MUFON UFO Journal and various online websites. He has appeared on Paranormal TV and The Paracast Radio show. Ben has been with MUFON since the early 90’s. Tony has been studying UFOs since the early 90s. He became an investigator in 1999 while living in Northern Virginia. As an Assistant State Director and STAR Team member, Tony works closely with other experts in the field to gain further knowledge on using current technology to further the field of UFOlogy in a scientific way. Bob Young is a life-long amateur astronomer who was a planetarium educator at the State Museum of Pennsylvania Planetarium for 29 years before his retirement. He is active
with the Astronomical Society of Harrisburg, Pa.’s Naylor Observatory where he has taught a public adult Observational Astronomy course for more than 40 years. Robert received a B.A. in English in 1966 from Elizabethtown College and was a teacher, educator and public relations professional.
