Turi Ryder, author of “She Said What? (A Life on the Air)” has hosted her own radio shows in LA, Chicago, Minneapolis, and Portland. She gives advice, which you probably should not take, and tells stories, which you probably should not believe.
Marci Persky spent years reporting and editing for UPI and other news organizations. She's worked in radio news and as a talk show host, for stations from her hometown of Kalamazoo Michicgan and her second home, Chicago. Marci now lives in Arizona, somewhere near the Grand Canyon, where she helps run an animal shelter, a political organization, and a hospice-supporting thrift store. Clearly, she likes to run things.

Elevation Sickness
Company comes to Marci’s S@*#storm of Awesomeness ranch—at 11,000 feet. They are still alive. Marci’s moment of tech confusion nearly gets her eaten by wildlife. Once again, calls for help go out to “Steve in India.” Trouble at the bank.
-
Why Clean it Up?
The adult children are here. Marci flies again, with damage. Admitting you are wrong—when to do it? Cleaning: dust colored gloves trump rose colored glasses. Marci believes there are only two types of kids…and Turi should be glad she didn’t give birth to one of them. The digestive qualities of matza, and the renaming of prunes.

You Were Warned (Pt. 2)
Marci has a “freedom of speech freedom of the press” agenda—but she once paid the price for a teenage transgression. Turi is a hard-liner on consequences, until she sees her own kid’s Facebook page. Now on campus: Imagine what happens when the thing you were told would happen…actually happens.
-
You Were Warned Pt. 1
Turi experiences a rude awakening. It’s the cops. Crime and punishment, Marci has been hacked. Crime and punishment on the university campus, aka didn’t your parents teach you anything?
-
The Reunion
Marci is grandparenting…by some name. Reunion—radio and otherwise. The Denver Boot (for cars) and one for some other use. Update on the garbage house, which may explode. Marci’s history of neighborhood explosions. Reunions, radio and otherwise. Coachella, the algorithm strikes back.

Chivalry is Selective
Fine, thanks…and how did YOU sleep? Paying to take orders. The people on your social media that you know you know….but you could be wrong. The worst people at the worst performance at the Fringe Festival.
