Have you ever thought about the Popular Evangelical Women’s Ministry in America today? Do you read books by popular authors, attend their "bible" studies, and sold-out conferences? Do you ever wonder if these produce the maturity they claim to encourage? Perhaps you have spent hours reading books and attending conferences and feel no more mature in your Christian walk than you did 5, 10, or even 20 years ago? Or maybe you're a discerning woman who understands that there is something wrong but can’t put your finger on it or articulate why there seems to be a problem.
Thoroughly Equipped is a podcast for women-centered on Sola Scriptura. This is the doctrine that the Scriptures are all we need for salvation and spiritual living. They are God-breathed and useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting, and training in righteousness so the man or woman of God may be... not a little, not even a lot, but THOROUGHLY/COMPLETELY equipped for EVERY good work.
This podcast takes the popular Evangelical Women’s ministry teachings, books, podcasts, conferences, "bible" studies, etc., and compares them to Scripture. The purpose of which is to show just how Sufficient Scripture is to equip us to be Godly women.

Leaving the New Age with Doreen Virtue
Thoroughly Equipped Season 3 Episode 1
T.E. is back for a 3rd season!
For episode one of this season I interview Doreen Virtue on her conversion from the New Age religion to Jesus Christ.
Doreen Virtue was a top-selling new age author with heretical publications in 38 languages by various publishers, appearances on Oprah, and sold-out international workshops before God graciously saved her in 2017. Now she is a whistleblower exposing new age deception, and warning the church of false teachings on her YouTube channel, social media pages including Facebook, and in frequent interviews. Doreen has been featured on American Gospel 3, American Gospel TV, Daily Wire, Moody Radio, Spillover, Christianity Today, Cultish, and other Christian media. Doreen graduated with a Masters Degree in Biblical and Theological Studies (56 units with highest honors) from Western Seminary in 2021, and she holds a BA and MA in Counseling Psychology from Chapman University.
On this episode we talk about certain beliefs within the New Age and it's similarities with the progressive, NAR, and deliverance ministries within the "evangelical" church.
May this episode bless you and bring glory to God!

Using D.E.I. to Fundamentally Change the Church
Thoroughly Equipped Season 2 Episode 38
Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion has been a hot topic in the economic sphere, but it’s actually not limited there. This anti-racist infiltration has made a huge mark in the education realm and now has for the last couple of years gained access to Christian institutions and organizations.
Under the last step given to white bridge builders in the Be the Bridge 101 guide, Be the Bridge exposes their desire to fundamentally change the church by defeating the white supremacy within it. How do they believe this work is done? Through Diversity, Equity and Inclusion training But not merely diversifying the leadership, but working toward equity and inclusion of, not only race, but theological views.
How might diversity, equity, and inclusion come into your church? Let’s dive in…
Topics include:
How Be the Bridge uses a false historical narrative to urge it's readers to become "Accomplices" within the American Church.
How Anti-Racist presuppositions can influence how one sees the Church's role in the Abolitionist Movement
The difference between diversity, equity, and inclusion and how they are being used to challenge Headship and Authority in the Church
How D.E.I. is ultimately a rebellion against God and Christ's institution of Authority in the Church.

Training Christians to Divide: White Fragility
Thoroughly Equipped Season 2 Episode 37
Be the Bridge Ministry has it's white bridge builders start with teaching them about their whiteness; hoping to help them learn humility and grow in racial righteousness. The Be The Bridge 101 Guide: Foundational Principals Every White Bridge Builder Needs to Know helps gives white people 4 steps to addressing their whiteness; White Identity, White Privilege, White Fragility, and White Supremacy.
We have addressed the first 2 in the last episode and are going to talk about the 3 foundational principle in this one: White Fragility. We will ask questions about white fragility to help us see what's behind the idea.
Topics Include:
What is white fragility?
What spurs it on?
What cultural ideas ignite white fragility in white people? Are they ideas worth being challenged and cast aside?
What are the presuppositions behind white fragility?
Is teaching white people to over come white fragility a good or bad thing? Does overcoming it, as we are instructed in Be The Bridge 101, actually bring unity to God's people?
White fragility and real racism
How do we as Christians REALLY become humble and fight ethnic hatred and false bias?
May this episode bless you and bring glory to God!

So helpful
I find this very informative and important
Excellent Podcast
Like the first reviewer I found this podcast from Jon Harris’ YouTube channel Conversations That Matter. I also went to Melissa’s website tree.org and found a wealth of biblical theology and responses to today’s lukewarm and worldly women’s ministries and the effects they are having on women as well as men in the church.
I highly recommend checking out her articles and resources that are very much needed in the Christian church.
A Much Needed Voice
I found out about this podcast from Jon Harris. I have been greatly impressed with the Melissa’s careful analysis of faulty doctrine and theology we see in modern women’s ministry. I wish her all the best since we desperately need more discernment in this area. I recommend this podcast to both women and men (especially pastors, since much of this false teaching is spread in the church under the radar).
