Thoughts Miranda Schroeder

EP22. Miranda almost had a panic attack at a recent wedding and it was a wake up call. We are working to get ahead, become more organized so we can prioritize personal time and mental health. Miranda finally shared about trying to get pregnant on social media (that it wasn't going as well as expected), and how she felt about the "advice and feedback" she received. Finally, she shares about a couple recent podcast episodes that inspired her to get back on the mic and record another podcast after weeks away. We are all going to fall off the horse on our journey towards something great. The important part is getting back up and becoming consistent again.

EP21. Miranda took full advantage of her first and last weekend off during the spring wedding season. She started working on the living room and decided that creating DIY social media content is basically impossible at this point in time. If anything, listen to this episode for a lesson on hanging curtain rods and panels. Our last neighborhood had yards that looked like abandoned haunted houses and now we have an intense HOA. There is so much pressure to keep your house tidy around here. On Sunday, Porter busted out of his crate while we were gone and had explosive diarrhea around the entire main floor. Miranda could do an entire episode on how much the dog stresses her out. 

EP20. Miranda recaps the exhausting move to the new house. The packing wasn't terrible, but the actual move was excruciating. She jumps into the first couple of projects she plans to tackle (very slowly) at the new house, and shares some exciting news about the direction of the podcast.

EP19. Andrew and Miranda showed up late to the closing on their new house. Ryan has been sick, no one has been sleeping. We move tomorrow! Holy cow! Miranda shares the weekend moving plans, how Andrew might have a broken hand, and then talks about the emotional toll of working in the service industry. If these past few weeks have taught Miranda anything, it's that she needs to show more empathy, grace and compassion for all of the amazing humans she interacts with on a daily basis.

EP17. Just a quick life update this week! Between work and moving, Miranda is completely overwhelmed. According to an Instagram follower, "She makes her own life complicated, is never happy and complains a lot." Miranda gives her thoughts on that statement. Next, she gives real-time updates on the home buying and selling process. Things are moving quickly! Lastly, Miranda shares how her and Andrew have been trying for baby number two and the impact that's had the last few months. 

EP16. Going through the home buying process has stirred up a lot of talk about family finances and where the family wants to be long term. Miranda shares how investing in real estate over the last 9 years has allowed her and her husband, Andrew, to buy their dream house. She talks about getting out of debt and monthly budgeting practices that are helping her and Andrew achieve their goals.
