Thursday | 10/15/2020 | Gil Rios & Good Morning Aurora: A Conversation All About Aurora Good Morning Aurora

    • Daily News

Dignity, respect, hard work & perseverance; that's what Gil Rios's life has been all about. Today's interview was awesome and very informative for us. From Texas to Aurora, Gil has made quite a transition and has contributed a lot to this city. As a member of the Aurora Regional Hispanic Chamber of Commerce he has been in the middle of great things. He also brings history to our discussion and that was interesting to hear! He started a corner pharmacy, taco restaurant and served our country in the Marine Corps. His family has been a big help along the way and he's spent his time giving back. He sponsors initiatives such as bands, Simply Destinee and golf outings. This was a great man to meet. His passion for the city is unrivaled and we wish him much success on everything he does.

Much love and thanks to all the people of Aurora, all Aurora veterans and educators. Thank you to our friends at the Cotton Seed Creative Exchange, Crystal House & REFS Productions. Big props to everyone involved in Fiestas Patrias, Durango tacos and the City of Aurora. Don't forget the C.H.A.N.G.E. Initiative this evening. There's a lot of great things happening and we have a lot more coming. McCarty Mills & Strawberries BBQ is getting it on tomorrow cooking and providing good beer. Stay blessed, safe, motivated & determined. See you all tomorrow on the greatest morning show in earth. Peace!
