Ep. 30 - Clayton Romero and Brandon Duke

This episode's guests, Clayton Romero and Brandon Duke, are the owners of Novis Opera and the creators of Garfield's Crossing, a large project that began as writing and curating short stories set around a fictional town in North Georgia.  It has grown into a large creative universe with many writers and contributors and is in the process of converting their written stories into fully-produced and voice-acted audio plays.  They also have a current Kickstarter campaign to help fund their productions.  We discuss creating a fictional universe, writing, dealing with creatives, and independently funding these kinds of efforts.  Enjoy!

You can learn more about Garfield's Crossing and read their stories at:  www.garfieldscrossing.com

Also, you can contribute to their Kickstarter at:

    Ep. 27 - Trey Humphreys

    Ep. 27 - Trey Humphreys

I struggled with how to describe this episode's guest, Trey Humphreys.  His life experience is one of the most unique and self-driven as any I've encountered, and he has more fun than most people you know.  He sums himself up as "Author. Life Coach. Extreme Weirdo."  We'll discuss his weirdo-ness, challenging yourself every day, dealing with fear, fur lining busses, and more.  I hope this conversation makes you think about who you are, what you do, and why you are doing it.  It did for me.

You can find Trey at www.iamtrey.com

And @treygoesglobal on all the social medias.

    Enjoy!

Smart and never self indulgent

I enjoy Shawn’s succinct conversations and interesting guests. He’s got a lot to say and gives you many points to consider.

Great Podcast.

Shawn is really great at talking to people. This seems mostly rooted in people he knows, but the conversation is always interesting. Didn't think I'd have any interest outside of music related stuff, but just listened to his converstation with Chadwick, and loved it for no other reason than I get to hear about what someone I'd never encounter is passionate about, why he's passionate about it, and how those things can relate to my own life. Not everyone can make a conversation like that interesting, but Shawn does it well. Keep 'em coming!

Yes, I'm shameless.
