Perfect time for a fresh anecdote.

Rambling Jack Podcast

This was wonderful. I wish it was longer. I’m sure he has so many stories to tell. I had the pleasure of meeting Jack a few years ago at Ashland Coffee and Tea. Same place I met Tom. I was the Hiring Manager with Con-way Freight and told Jack I was hiring drivers. I asked him if he still had his CDL. He perked up and said that’s a good idea. I’m going over the road! He was so nice and accommodating. He kept trying to get some whisky from the guy tending bar but his handler kept putting water in it. It was hilarious. I bought a bunch of CD’s, he signed them shock my hand. I’ll never forget it.

Doesn’t get better than this.

It's Tom Russell, the greatest English-language singer/songwriter (sorry, Mr. Dylan, but you know I’m right) talking music. And, like Sterling Hayden, he's articulate as hell. If you are already a Tom Russell. Fan, you don’t need to have it explained to you just how good this is. And If you’ve never heard Tom Russell, you are in for a big treat.
