    Dr. Lulu is a queer Nigerian-born, pediatrician, mom of a transgender daughter, bestselling author, 3-time TEDx Speaker and certified life coach.

    She was named the 2021 Advocate of the Year by the San Antonio LGBT Chamber of Commerce and received the DEI award for 2022 by the San Antonio Business Journal.

    In September of 2022, she was selected as a participant on Oprah Daily Insider “The Life You Want” Class on Service hosted by Oprah Winfrey, with special guests Van Jones and Rebecca Welsh. 

    She works to eliminate youth suicide, particularly amongst LGBTQ+ youth, by coaching parents, caregivers, extended family members (and the entire village it takes to raise and save a child) struggling with acceptance and support of queer kids. 

    She speaks on parenting, LGBTQ+ issues, and youth suicide prevention. She has been interviewed by Oprah Daily, CBS This Morning with Gayle King, and numerous local, national and international news outlets.

    She is the host of Moms 4 Kids Podcast.
