Customer Reviews
Very, very insightful
Troy’s database is a humanity-saving project, his pro-privacy approach, and obvious technical expertise makes this podcast a must for experts and novices alike.
Some stars for his work on HIbP only. Podcast needs improvement
First off, I want to give Troy some respect for making the Have-I-Been-Pwnd website, for making it available to the others for free, and for generally standing up to companies for neglecting our security.
What I can't stand in has podcast though is his incessant bragging. This is seriously annoying. OK, you live in a sunny part of the world, have a fast car and a boat. So why do we need to hear about it, Troy? I know you're probably reading this. So please drop it and your podcast will be close to the top of security podcasts in my list, because once I skip through the first 15 minutes it actually starts having a lot of relevant and interesting security based material. If you want to promote your next gigs, then just quickly mention it at the end. We can search you out without the need to go through every single step you took at some conference. And keep your boats and cars for an Instagram. You'll get the right followers there.
PS. My latest worry is actually his HIBP website. He briefly mentioned selling it in one of the last episodes. So I'm afraid we might get another LastPass-having-been-acquired-by-LogmeIn type stories here. Hope not, Troy!
Not enough security/IT talk
Troy is really smart and a great resource to the community but I with this podcast were more focused on technical topics. Troy spends a lot of time talking about random things in his life and I am just not interested in that.
