Warren Buffett once said “Any business with delighted customers has a sales force they won’t have to pay; You don’t see them, but they are talking to people all the time.”

There are countless tools available today to help entrepreneurs market their services to current and potential clients. But what really makes you stand out?

Nat Korol is here to talk about how you can create moments of delight for your clients, and that ultimately can lead to a growing business through increased client retention and referrals!

Nat Korol combines 15 years of marketing experience from working in finance, investor relations, media distribution, and brand marketing to help organizations identify marketing niches and translate them into tangible business outcomes. As a co-founder of a Toronto-based B2B creative marketing firm, Hyphen, Nat's focused on building a responsible culture and a sustainable business that's leading the change on how agencies operate.

Since 2016, Hyphen has partnered with over 50 organizations to deliver impactful digital marketing strategy and design, all while donating 1% of their revenue (not profits) to Environmental Defense Canada via 1% for the Planet Business Members, and on average, taking 3 weeks vacation plus 2 weeks off over the winter holidays annually!

Her passion for learning and sharing her knowledge has led her to lecturing on Content Marketing Strategy to post-graduate students at Humber College and on Professional Media Sales to fourth-year undergrads at University of Guelph-Humber. She was nominated for Canada’s Top 40 Under 40, and was named Top B2B Marketing Strategist of the Year 2023 by International Association of Top Professionals.

Everywhere you turn, people are talking about A.I. - artificial intelligence. It’s becoming a major player in every industry and on the way to being part of our everyday lives at a very fast pace.

But if you’re like me, you’re probably asking “What is A.I.?” For those of us in the wealth management industry, is it something we should worry about or something we can harness and use?

Joining me to answer these questions is someone that is involved in the A.I. world in our industry, Brad Joudrie from Conquest Planning!

As the Chief Revenue Officer at Conquest Planning Inc., Brad Joudrie brings a wealth of experience in the technology arena. He holds an Honours Bachelor of Commerce degree from McMaster University and has nearly two decades of expertise in the field.

Following a successful career in sales and sales leadership roles within the human capital management space, Brad transitioned to financial services technology, where he led global sales for Advicent Solutions (NaviPlan), making significant contributions to the company's growth.

Following this, Brad took on the challenge of expanding Quovo Inc., a leading data aggregation technology firm, into the Canadian market until its eventual sale to Plaid. In 2019, he joined Conquest Planning to spearhead go-to-market efforts as its Chief Revenue Officer.

Conquest Planning has since established itself as a market leader in the financial advice space in Canada, with recent expansions into both the UK and US markets, in large part thanks to Brad's strategic guidance.

EP52 - What I Learned from Five Star Hotels and and How to Offer Five Star Service in Your Business

EP52 - What I Learned from Five Star Hotels and and How to Offer Five Star Service in Your Business

Schedule a complimentary virtual coffee with me and let’s talk about how you offer five star service in your own business! https://aspect.ipcc.ca/turning-the-page-podcast#grabcoffeewithchris

I recently had the good fortune to travel through Southeast Asia on an epic 17 city tour. Travel is one of my passions. It allows me to see how the rest of the world lives, their cultures and most importantly their food!  I love to embrace new places and study what makes them different from us in North America.

When you travel as much as I do, you get to stay at many different types of hotels and dine at different restaurants. Some disappoint, some meet your expectations and others are so outstanding that you must tell everyone you meet about your experiences.

After my last trip, I started to take notes on why some places were so fantastic and stood out from the others. And why some could charge a big premium for what they do for essentially the same commodity.

In this episode, you’ll learn the three things these five star companies do so well that you should integrate into your own business.

What do you do to offer a five star service to your clients? Let’s have a virtual coffee and talk about it!

The challenges Andrew and his team are facing through the merger process.
The recent white paper that was issued regarding commission redirection

Andrew J. Kriegler is the inaugural CEO of the Canadian Investment Regulatory Organization (CIRO) formed on January 1, 2023, through the amalgamation of the Investment Industry Regulatory Organization of Canada (IIROC) and the Mutual Fund Dealers Association of Canada (MFDA).

Before coming to IIROC, Andrew served as Deputy Superintendent of the Office of the Superintendent of Financial Institutions (OSFI) where he was responsible for the prudential supervision of Canada's federally regulated financial institutions. He also spent 25 years in the private sector, most recently as Treasurer of CIBC from 2008 to 2012, and earlier as Senior Vice President & Chief Human Resources Officer of Moody's Corporation, parent of the credit rating agency Moody’s Investors Service, where he had been the Canadian Country Managing Director.

Andrew has also worked as a treasury executive, as a securitization and debt capital markets banker, as an analyst and then a trader on a mortgage-backed securities trading desk.
