    Episode №9

    Episode №9

In this episode, we will delve into a highly complex question: what is the reconstruction of Ukraine like? Recently, several attempts to answer that question were made in London, where the Ukraine Recovery Conference was held in late June 2023. The conference was attended by UK Prime Minister Rishi Sunak, President of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen, as well as US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken.
The issue of reconstruction is indeed enormous, and it can be overwhelming to know where to start. Questions like when to begin rebuilding cities and whether it's safe to invest in Ukraine are vital considerations. Moreover, determining the amount of financial support Ukraine needs and identifying the sources of this finance are critical aspects to address.
Compared to the Lugano Conference in 2022, the recent Ukraine Recovery Conference has seen a significant increase in specific and precise ideas and suggestions. The key message from the conference is that Ukrainian partners are committed to sustaining their support and gaining a better understanding of how this support can be shaped and implemented.
The road to reconstruction may be challenging, but with continued dedication and collaboration, Ukraine is poised to make significant progress in rebuilding and revitalizing its future.
In addition, we will provide you with updates from the frontlines, highlight the main events in Ukraine during the week of July 4 – 11, and share a significant event from Ukrainian history.
Together, let's seek the truth, foster understanding, and strive for a better future.

In this episode, we will address the issue of diversity in the Ukrainian army, focusing on the challenges faced by women, LGBTQ+ individuals, as well as vegans and vegetarians. Finally, we will address the treatment of vegetarians and vegans in the army.

    Episode №7

    Episode №7

In this episode, we delve into the catastrophic event that unfolded at the Kakhovka dam, focusing on the far-reaching consequences of this heinous act of terrorism. We examine the response, or lack thereof, from the russian side and the devastating effects it had on both the local population and the wildlife in the region.
Just a few weeks ago, in our third episode, we highlighted the extensive environmental damage caused by russia's full-scale invasion, affecting Ukraine's soil, rivers, the Black Sea, and the local wildlife. The reported cases of environmental damage had already surpassed 2,300, with an estimated cost of $51.45 billion. However, in the early hours of June 6, 2023, news broke that Russian forces had deliberately destroyed the Nova Kakhovka hydroelectric dam on the Dnipro River in the Kherson region of southern Ukraine.
This catastrophic act put approximately 16,000 local citizens at risk of flooding in the right bank area of the Dnipro River, which encompasses 80 villages within the Ukraine-controlled Kherson area. To address the imminent danger, the local government swiftly cut off electricity and launched extensive rescue missions throughout the affected region.
We shed light on the challenges faced by the affected communities and the long-term environmental impact caused by russia's actions. Additionally, we provide you with an update from the frontlines, highlighting the significant events that unfolded in Ukraine between June 10 and 26.
Tune in to gain a comprehensive understanding of the Kakhovka dam catastrophe, its consequences, and the ongoing developments in Ukraine.
Together, let's seek the truth, foster understanding, and strive for a better future.
