This podcast is a place where we'll discuss those topics that are uneasy to have in church or with Christians, but we're exploring how easy they can actually be. We'll talk about things like race, adultery, idolatry, progressivism, conservatism, government, modern culture, modern church culture, other religions, the list goes on and on. My goal here is to have open conversations about these topics, seeing how they can be found in scripture, and how they can actually be easy (and sometimes necessary) conversations to have. Hope you enjoy these (un)easy conversations in Jesus' name.

Finding Authenticity In Worship PT 2
Hey, everyone. Dom here. It's been a while and although I'm not back for good, I wanted to get this conversation out because it was such a good conversation with a fellow worship leader (Parker) about a topic that I've been really wrestling with over the last two years. This conversation is part two of the last one released a month ago and our original topic was something different, but when we got into the conversation it went in such a different direction that I really enjoyed, but I didn't feel like that title fit anymore. I hope that these conversations really help you to see praise in a new light and devote your life to true worship of God.

EP11: It IS a Religion... In Jesus' Name
Welcome back to the Uneasy Conversations... In Jesus' Name podcast. It's been awhile. Life has been changing for me, and it's all great changes. In today's episode I tackle the now common phrase of "It isn't a religion, it's a relationship." While I do believe that to be true (we do have relationship with God through Christ), we are also to follow the laws of God through religion. Religion is often seen as a dirty word, but they both go hand in hand and are healthy when done right, and that's what we're going to have a little conversation about.

Interlude... In Jesus' Name
Welcome back to the Uneasy Conversations... In Jesus' Name podcast. This episode is a little different today. We're not having a normal conversation, instead we are talking about the direction we are going on this podcast. We're shifting gears a little bit to make the podcast more expansive and in some ways, more fun. Take a listen, and hop on board for what we have next in store.

EP10: A Spirit of... In Jesus' Name
Welcome to the Uneasy Conversations... In Jesus' Name podcast. It's been a minute, but I'm glad to be back with some more conversation. This one being one that has kind of stayed on the lips of Christians since the pandemic started, and I don't blame them. I believe that we should look to God in every circumstance, because in Him we can find peace and hope for what's to come. However I don't think we should use that fact as a tool to shame brothers and sisters. We all fear something, that much is true, and that's why I believe we should all come alongside one and another and lift each other up at all times in a world that is constantly trying to do the opposite.

EP9: What Are We Doing Here... In Jesus' Name
Welcome back to the Uneasy Conversations... In Jesus' Name podcast. I've been away for a few weeks, but I'm back and this time to just talk... Can we talk? There's been so much going on in the world today. So many differing opinions, so many headlines, so many positions to take on so many issues that I feel like I'm going insane. There is so much twisting of the Word, so little knowledge of the Word, and so much deceit going on in and around that church that I just don't know where to begin, but it's been really bringing me down the last couple of weeks. I just want to talk, vent, and maybe gather my thoughts a little bit for the next few episodes to come.
