Cohorted talks to Rehema Muthamia about her background, career and recent win of the beauty pageant – Miss England. Rehema discusses what it was like to be the only woman of colour throughout her degree and Masters, and how she dealt with the racist backlash that came after she was crowned.

Rehema addresses the common misconceptions she faces in both her career in consulting, but also towards people who compete in pageants, and argues the point that women should have a place in STEM industries and that it’s important to see people who look like you.

The Art of Health - With Rhian Stephenson Part 2

Rhian is a huge advocate of women’s health and education. Throughout her clinical practice and her experience as a woman, she’s seen how many medical standards are based on men’s physiology and men’s experiences, putting women’s negative health experiences down to “period pain”.

In part 2 of this episode, she discusses the lack of education around female health, how to optimise your life by doing things that make you feel good and keep you healthy, and how motherhood has changed her view of womanhood.

The Art of Health - With Rhian Stephenson pt1

The Art of Health - With Rhian Stephenson pt1

Cohorted’s host, Ximena Guijarro, talks to Rhian Stephenson about what real health looks like, getting to the root cause of health problems, and what makes Artah’s supplements different from everyone else.

Rhian is a naturopath and nutritionist by trade. After a decade in the business, she had the opportunity to run a fitness business, which she loved, but which highlighted one important factor for her: although people were getting fitter, they weren’t getting healthier. And so Artah Nutrition was born.

In today’s episode, Rhian chats about her own struggle in practice to find potent supplements to treat health problems, the importance of doing a “health audit”, the dangers of diet culture, and making small changes to improve your health.

Artah has recently launched a supplement range that stands out from the rest. They’re potent, made to specifications that Rhian wishes she’d had when she was in practice, and designed to get to the root cause of health problems. Keep up with the amazing work they’re doing by signing up for their newsletter on their website!
