Revelation 7 is considered a parenthetical chapter, a pause in the natural order of the book. Spiritually, this is symbolic of times when we experience a pause in the progress of our lives, or times when we are feeling stuck. Let’s examine the purpose of this chapter in the book of Revelation and how it reflects the reason we experience pauses in our lives.

In the beginning of Revelation 7, John saw four angels standing at the four corners of the earth, holding back the four winds so they did not blow on the earth or the sea, or even on any tree. Then another angel appeared to keep them from harming the land, sea and trees until the seal of God is placed on the foreheads of God’s servants. Let’s examine what these images symbolize and what they represent in our consciousness?

This Sunday, we’ll conclude our study of Revelation 6. Let’s discover what happens in John’s vision when the Lamb breaks the fifth and sixth seals on the scroll in the hand of the one sitting on the throne. How are these events, written over two thousand years ago, still relevant today? Let’s have the eyes to see and the ears to hear the spiritual message of the rest of this chapter and gain a deeper revelation of the Christ within.

This Sunday, we begin our study of Revelation 6. Let’s examine the four horses that appear when the Lamb breaks the first six seals on the scroll in the right hand of the one sitting on the throne. Let’s delve into the significance of each horse and what it symbolizes in our consciousness and in our lives.
