Unpacking Israeli History

No one is neutral on Israel, that’s a given, and neither on Noam. But in the zoo of opinion pieces and shows devoted to Israel,….wow, what a terrific show! 

He claims he’s an educator and I commend him and his team on a job well done—he dives deep into little known, below-the-standard-paradigm headlines to uncover the deeper patterns and insights that have moved middle east history and Israeli history in particular since its inception. He interviews key people. And he keeps the focus on a humanist telling of events informed deeply of history. Job well done! Know that I look forward to every episode!i

The show may have started as a history show but it’s actually a current events show. Once you ignore the title it’s an interesting perspective on current affairs, just not history.

I am constantly learning from Noam. As an educator, he shares his knowledge and conveys both sides of the story which doesn’t happen often in podcasts. Keep it up!

This show means a great deal to me. It has been a comfort throughout the war and I’ve found that I’ve connected with old friends and new ones over the fact that we all discovered your show and it has made a difference in our lives. One thing that may not fit on this show but that id love to hear you talk about, is a shared experience many of us (in the U.S.) have had of losing friends who have been unwilling to learn about israel and who have incredibly limited and biased viewpoints. I frequently post online about your show in the hopes of opening other minds. Thank you so much for being there.
