The Devil's Mistress (1965)
This week we're exploring the Acid Western with one of the first to do it, Orville Wanzer's The Devil's Mistress. Thanks to Dr. Julia Smith for her work to preserve his work and was kind enough to share some insights with Lance.

Invitation to Travel (1982)
Letterboxd took some liberties with tagging this film as horror, but we'll take that road trip. Join us as we discuss the many ins and outs of Lucien's journey in Invitation au Voyage.

The Blood Rose (1970)
We're closing out April Showers of Blood with yet another French movie (we can't seem to get enough of France this year). A gothic fairy tale riff on Eyes Without a Face, The Blood Rose delivers so much of what we love in horror films.

A Bloodthirsty Killer (1965)
It's April Showers of Blood! We're kicking off this year's theme of "blood" in the title by covering a Korean film that borrows quite a bit from Japanese Bakeneko films. Melting blood paintings, poison, conspiracy, mysterious maids, ghosts wandering the forest, and cats hissing, licking, and growling all come together in A Bloodthirsty Killer.

Deranged (1987)
This week we're entering the house of a psychotic woman: Joyce (Veronica Hart) in Chuck Vincent's Deranged. We get into a large chunk of Vincent's mainstream filmography, share favorite films from Jamie Gillis's adult entries, and happily accept that our questions about the. events in the film will never be answered.

Demon is on the Island (1983)
It's Erica's birthday this week and that means picking a movie with two things: names she can't pronounce and child endangerment. This episode we join Dr. Gabrielle Martin at her new island residence, where any you buy at the local market can kill you (ok, probably just maim you). The Demon (or something else!) is on the island (Le démon dans l'île) is not what you expect. Listen in to find out why.

Customer Reviews
Great Podcast
One of my new favorites. Really good format, great chemistry and discussions between the two hosts Erica and Lance. Love being introduced to new films and then listening to the pod.
Great Podcast!!
Easily one of my favorite podcasts. I love how they cover films that don’t get talked about often enough. Erica and Lance have great chemistry and really do their homework to find all the information on the films they’re covering. Everyone should definitely give them a listen. I highly recommend it!!
Required Listening for Diehard Horror Fans
Easily my favorite horror podcast in the rotation of shows I listen to. Do you want to find some awesome films you'd probably never come across otherwise? Do you appreciate great banter with a solid mix of laughs and intelligent discussion? Want to be the "cool" person in your nerd circle and bust out some obscure titles nobody else will know? This show has it all and more. I walk away from every episode thoroughly entertained and with my watch list overflowing with cool stuff to track down and check out.
