We all have misbeliefs - about ourselves, about others, about whether God will accept us after all we’ve done - or not done. Life has a way of tangling up the truth. False beliefs keep us tethered to pain. Faulty thinking brings confusion and chaos. We need the thoughtful guidance of a seasoned sojourner to get us through to the message of the cross: God loves us no matter what, no strings attached. No earning, no proving, no striving.

For more than three decades, Gina Pettit has helped countless women find freedom from self-defeating thoughts. Her teaching has inspired many to a higher view of God.

In The Untangled Podcast, Gina helps women breathe deep, experience joy, and develop a sound mind. “As a young thirty-something I had so much going on, I could not hold a complete thought,” Gina says. “In this podcast I talk about the foundational truths that settled my mind down.”

“No one has it all together, but you can be present in your own life,” Gina continues. “You can show up as your true self. You can think clearly. Anxiety doesn’t have to rob you of life, hope and freedom.”

    Hey, You’re Loved

    Hey, You’re Loved

In the story of Leah found in Genesis 29, we see how her shift from focusing on being loved by her husband to being loved and blessed by her God ended up transforming her life, and then both she and her son Judah became prominent ancestors to the Jewish people and to Jesus Christ. Jesus came to show just how much he loves you and when you get that understanding firmly established as the basis of your worldview, you will never be the same.

    From the Beginning

    From the Beginning

If you are looking to find the root problem that is keeping you from being your best self, we have to go back to the beginning of the Bible, in Genesis 1-3. If we begin be believing that God is good and all that he created is good, then we can trace through Adam and Eve how the lack of trust in God’s love and desire for their good led to the rapid decline in the full human race and all creation.

    The Intervention

    The Intervention

When something gets tangled, it will not get untangled by itself. An outside intervention is required. In the last episode, we discovered the roots of our problems going back to Genesis 3, and in the episode we see the completeness and beauty of the solution God provided for us in what Jesus did through His birth, life, death on the cross, and resurrection.

Jesus is actually good news!

Gina guides us in how the Bible teaches us that Jesus came and died to give us ALL things. She helped me realize that the gospel really is good news and that Christianity isn’t about a set of laws, it’s about the person of Jesus. Can’t recommend highly enough. Just listen again and again till your heart says YES!

Completely changes your perspective!

This series has completely changed my perspective on who I am because Jesus died for me. I can see clearly that I am loved and free to rest in HIS work, not my own! Thank you for sharing your insight-it has been life-changing for me!
