Your two newest favorite idiots, Cory the Common Idiot and Kent the Doctor Idiot take on a myriad of pet topics in a (sorta) weekly podcast. They’ll make you laugh, they might make you cry, they might even make you cringe, but hopefully, you’ll learn something about the furriest and favorite part of your family. If you are looking for intelligent and linear discussions, clean vocabularies, and ground breaking content, this podcast isn’t for you. If you want the feel like you’re sitting around a table, picking up a little knowledge and sharing a laugh whilst sharing a beverage with friends, pull up a proverbial seat and listen in. Be an idiot with them.

While Dr Kent is a real veterinarian, this show does not constitute a doctor/patient relationship. “Vet Med For Idiots By Idiots” is designed to bring light and educate on multiple topics, not to diagnose, advise, or create a treatment plan. Please always consult your local veterinarian for any and all care specific to your pet.

The Worst Day, The Best Love. Compassion with Dr. Penny

The Worst Day, The Best Love. Compassion with Dr. Penny

Special note from The Idiots- Be advised there is a bit of a trigger warning for this episode. The Idiots stand by this episode and do believe it may be the most important episode we have done.
Every dog owner has one day that is always going to be worse than any others. Any dog owner that has gone through this knows how horrible it is. With this in mind, it's very difficult to make the decision to say goodbye. The Idiots are joined by Dr. Penny, a euthanasia expert, and discuss the ironic piece that the most care and love anyone can do is making the right call to send your furry companion across the Rainbow Bridge. They discuss how to know when the time is right, and put different spins on the topic to let you know that you're absolutely doing the right thing. They still try to keep levity on a topic that is hard to cover.

Vet Med For Fictional Dogs By Idiots

Vet Med For Fictional Dogs By Idiots

Today's episode is actually fun. The Idiots talk about a handful of fictional dogs with a realistic lens, and how Kent would care for these dogs as their primary dogtor. You'll also learn a lot of bonus trivia about the characters, the breeds they're based upon, and behind the scenes of the shows they're from.

    Brucellosis Sprouts

Did you know that dogs can get STDs!? Well, now you do. You'll hear about exchanges of fluids from body secretions. It's more entertaining than it sounds. The Idiots also discuss spaying and neutering. They didn't give me much to work with for an episode description. Does anyone even really read these? Anyway, bullet points-dogs can get STDs, the disease can jump species, Bob Barker made neutering gender specific to dogs, Kent doesn't like milk but does love cheese, Cory can't make sense of this. Please keep listening.

Dr Drew after dark meets beers with vets

All the hilarious unhinged vulgarity of drew pinsky X Tom segura, but with the distinct vibe of going out to beers with a bunch of exhausted veterinary professionals who are just so tired of keeping it together

Raw and brilliant

This feels just like having a conversation with your weird friends. I love Cory’s unintended ignorance and Dr. Morton’s honesty. They don’t shy away from difficult subjects and really dig deep to approach important and sometimes difficult issues. This is great for laypeople and veterinary professionals alike.

Two Weirdos

These guys are freaking weird and awkward as all get out. Somehow, it’s still really entertaining, and I can’t figure out why. I also learn things. I would say it is refreshing in the sense I have not heard anything like it before
