We talk about Danny Kirwan being thrust into a lead creative role while dealing with his own issues, the bands first full length release without Green called Kiln House, Jeremy Spencer's 50's rock influences on Kiln House, and the eventual departure of Spencer and introduction of new guitarist Bob Welch!

I go into Peter's life after Fleetwood and tribute quotes from different musicians after his passing, Jeremy Spencer being lured into a cult and the band being thrust onto Danny Kirwan's shoulders!

On episode 2 of Viral Music History's series on Fleetwood Mac, I talk about how Peter Green and the rest of Fleetwood Mac discover their newest guitarist, 18 year old Danny Kirwan. The band starts to shift a little creatively during this time with Danny's addition with singles Albatross and Oh Well, and Peter Green and Kirwan's only full length release together, Then Play On. Unfortunately, drug use starts to take its toll on the group's mental health during this period and I start discussing the potential fallout from all of this.

Great podcast to listen to when I’m driving to work. Lawrence is really knowledgeable when it comes to music and I’m happy to see he’s letting so many indie artists/bands get their shine!

idea is okay, but he talks about himself way too much. you would think the podcast is about him and not the people he’s interviewing. just seems very weird. i really tried with this podcast but i can’t recommend it.
Great idea for a podcast but
let the guests talk! The interviewer interrupts and takes over every interview and just rambles on and goes off and never lets the guest talk enough about their music, life, etc. On a positive note when he does actually interview he does a great job and has the right personality and approach. His intentions are for good and he’s bringing awareness to indie artist so I can appreciate him for that.
