Informative & Thought Provoking
Hope Andrew and Sean find time to bring this back, because its a great show that really fleshes out not only HP Lovecraft but also his friends and fellow pulp writers, and the time in which he lived, the early 20th century. Illuminating, occasionally frustrating or disappointing because of Lovecraft's backward views on so many topics, but never boring and always full of great knowledge to learn and share.
Delightful
This could scarecly be done any better. What a pleasure to listen to! As with all things HPLHS, well done gentlement, well done. My journey has only begun - but now I'm looking forward to long drives and other opportunities to tune back in. This is exactly what you expect in such a podcast - but better.
Brilliant thoughtful look at HPL through his letters
Sean and Andrew do an excellent, thoughtful, careful researched job of discussing HPL’s admirable traits as well as his his not so admirable traits as they read his letters.
