After last Sunday’s loss to SKC, Christeena & Annamaria recorded a recap of the playoffs. We went over our Cinderella first season by reading some preseason predictions about CITY SC and comparing them to how we ended up. We make some further predictions for the playoffs (including some that are now out of date) and update everyone on our EPL teams. Finally, we reveal the results of our MLS Referee Hot-or-Not assessment.

We recorded this between the Sporting KC and Whitecaps games. Hear us talk about the exhilarating win on Saturday against the team in Kansas, and burn out images from Wednesday’s game from your brain. Short episode, but a good one.

We spend the majority of this episode discussing Pride Night against Houston on 6/3. We tackle some of the tough stuff, including: commentary on Löwen and Hiebert, who chose not to wear the pride kit, how CITY SC put minimal effort into Pride Night beyond what the MLS was already doing, and some of the nastiness in the online STL soccer community surrounding Pride Month. We additionally discuss the Dallas weather delayed match and LA Galaxy, as well as some brief reactions to the Inter Miami Messi news. Coach talk: Christeena set up a new game involving Coach Carnell for Annamaria to play, and we compare and contrast the two different coaches during the Whitecaps/CITY game this past Saturday. We discuss SKC and the synergy of our current lineup. We also touch on the end of the EPL season with a shoutout to the lonely (and now relegated) Leeds supporter we met during Annamaria’s first trip to the Amsterdam. And finally, for the first time ever, we reveal our tongue-in-cheek hot-or-not MLS referee list.
