Incredible teacher!

I discovered Warren Wiersbe through some radio sermons in a local Christian radio station. His messages proclaim the truth of God’s Word and pierce the heart with its truths. His service lives in even though he is with Jesus now.

I listened to Warren Weisby in 1982 while driving around in the Cincinnati area. One of those days, I listened and found out that he used to teach at Calvary Baptist Church in Covington. While that was just across the river. So I drove over there and enter the church. The church was closed, but an older woman was running the library. She showed me around. At the end, she explained that Warren came to church as their youth pastor for the church. Her husband was the pastor. Shortly after Warren arrived, her husband died and Warren would become the lead pastor of the church. I was kinda speechless and didn’t know what to say. Here I was being showed around by former pastors wife. That was in 1982 or 1984. I believe at that time Warren Weisby was at Chicago Moody bible institute. That was 40 years ago. I had no inclination of his ministry started in that church, nor of the person would show me around that church. I imagine that woman is in heaven today along with her husband. David Hamester.
