Hey friend! Forewarning, please for the love of all things good, hear what we're saying and pay as little attention as physically possible to the static from my early 2000s Apple Headphones (in lieu of broken airpods and/or at-home recording equipment) *sigh... keeping it real.* ANYWAYS, this week's episode was recorded with Jessica Steward, at 6-something am, in our cars, on school/Starbucks parking lot wifi––so cheers to recording, in the most unconventional and creative ways! Jessica and her family recently made the switch from living in a home to traveling and doing life and work from their RV––how cool is that?! Ya’ll... it’s been a week and I’m tired as heck. I took (and passed!) my NREMT exam, and am officially an EMT, had to take a spontaneous trip back home (booked a flight and was home less than 24 hours later), and had my busiest week of the semester yet. So with none of my podcast equipment, negative energy levels, and under-caffeination, I bring you an episode on my highs and lows, an intro to boundaries, and a quick heart-to-heart/catch-up convo. I'm so grateful for each of you, thanks for showing up as I keep navigating this wild ride called life!

WELCOME BACK FRIENDS! In today's episode I got to chat with my pal, Brandon––(listen to the episode for the random story of how we met). He shares a bit about his extensive journey with sports and how his hockey career came to a halt after suffering a severe brain injury. He shares how he spent his time recovering (productively), how it shaped him into the person he is today, and even let us in on a new project he is working on. We answered some deep questions from the game, We're not really strangers, reflected on the ways we are critical of ourselves and others, our social insecurities, and I may or may not have exposed myself.... and what I consider to be one of the biggest mistakes I have ever made.
