Controversial?
I am thankful I am not a man; to be a minister is a huge as well a dangerous responsibility that Comes with a death penalty for false teachings. With that said it’s only controversial to those not yet called to the truth to be a true follower of Jesus Christ they wouldn’t produce a spirit of contention of such nonsense . IF we bring the world into the church we have lost our salt if we lose our salt we are of no value. No a woman should not be a preacher our shoulders are not big enough to carry that load. Being a help-meet and a mother and teacher of younger women is a lot to be thankful for. Adam listened to Eve putting her above God he bit and then their eyes was open, he wasn’t being her protector let alone her teacher. If a woman was to preach I think the mother of Jesus would have been allowed to do that after all she was with Him as He was learning, evidently she counseled Him at the wedding about the wine; But she was not a preacher or shepherd. God made us male and female walk in that order not the way of the world.
Systematic Theology by Wayne Grudem
The author goes to extreme lengths trying to explain theology systematically. Recommended for theologians and laypeople alike. Bravo to Wayne as he finds the Grace of God to communicate timelessness truths to the reader or hearer in an exuberant manner. To transfer with excellence in a world who accepts mediocre as the norm!
God’s blessings upon you,
Nick
The app works great so far!
We have this book on the shelf at Huikala Baptist Church in Honolulu, Hi. Since I’ve already read Ryrie’s “Basic Theology.” I wanted to see if this book had a podcast, and sure enough! I’ll see you in 623 episodes for another review!
