    Last week, college anglers competed at the Harris Chain of Lakes in Florida for the first major college event of 2023.  The MLF college event was a one-day tournament that counts for double points towards the Bass Pro Shops School of the Year presented by Abu Garcia.  Will Hammond & Cabe Mackey from 16th ranked Catawba Valley Community College took the win with 25 pounds 5 ounces.  Tune in to the latest episode of the Rapala #WeAreCollegiateBass Podcast to hear about the team's win!

    For the first time this season, the University of Montevallo is ranked number one in the race for Bass Pro Shops School of the Year presented by Abu Garcia.  Montevallo anglers Easton Fothergill & Nick Dumke are the special guests on this week’s episode of the Rapala #WeAreCollegiateBass Podcast.  The two anglers will discuss the season so far and Montevallo’s shot at achieving a first in the sport of collegiate bass fishing.
