Well Worth it

This is one of the only show's thus far that is updated frequently and is chocked full of info. Stacey is inspiring, enjoys what she does, does not make bogus claims and always gives references from where she gets her materials. She is a Young Living distributor and what I like most is that she does not forces you to join nor purchase anything from her. Because of her knowledge and willingness to learn, I now have a better understanding on what I am doing plus a growing collection of oils I use in my practice. I've learned so much more from her show than the over-priced essential oil class I took.

Heads up…re: allergy and Palo Santo etc.

This podcast is great, and, until I realized that, for me specifically, many medicinal herbs produce dangerous allergic reactions, I listened to it enthusiastically. Herbs that are powerful enough to be medicine are also powerful enough to cause rather gnarly side effects if you, like me, are apparently not one of Mother Earth's favorite humans. Ha. Personal exp: After rubbing Palo Santo essential oil on my sore neck and feet, etc., I had a blurred vision experience 30 min later that lasted about an hour or so. I washed it off with soap to try to counteract the oil continuing to be absorbed. Many super-healthy oils and edible herbs have given me lip/tongue swelling as well (not this distributor), but in general, including super foods such as ginkgo, goji berry, burdock/gobo, bitter melon, etc. I now carry an Epi Pen. I am not allergic to any common foods such as peanuts, eggs, or shellfish. Since I love the idea of natural medicine and Earth-centered wisdom, I am sad/annoyed at this, but hey, maybe Mother Earth wants me to stay out of her medicine cabinet. Ha. If you have no tendency towards food or medicine allergies, go ahead. Otherwise…proceed with caution.
