Jill has a long history in the public school system and has so much wisdom to share. We had an absolute BLAST talking with her and we know everyone will love to hear what she has to say!

    #30 What's It Like?...Lindsay Loewe part 2

We loved our conversation with mental health and substance abuse counselor Lindsay Loewe so much one year ago, we asked her to come back and talk about how Covid has affected mental health and what we can do about it!
As we expected, she had so much insight to share. We felt encouraged, better equipped and more aware of things we are struggling with as parents, wives, friends and employees during these crazy times!

#29 What's It Like?...to have a child with special needs

Tammy and Julie are both awesome women, moms and they are both raising a child with special needs.
On this episode, they share what it was like to first find out their child had special needs all the way to now, parenting a middle schooler with down syndrome and an adult with autism.
You will appreciate their honesty and grow in empathy as you learn about the ins and outs of parenting and loving a child with special needs.

    #27 What's it Like?....quarantine, Covid-19 and Black Lives Matter

This chat is really a catch up session for Emily and Stacy. Life threw us all a major curve ball in March and like everybody else we have had to adjust.
We talk about Covid-19, how our families dealt with the quarantine, the good and the hard of life slowing down. And we also talk about the BLM movement and protests and how we want to engage and be a part of the solution.

It's so good to be back, we have missed you!!!

Proud Wisconsinite

I was made aware of this podcast because I met the daughter of one of the hosts. I met her Friday, today is Sunday and I’ve already listened to a ton of episodes. We need to have more conversations like these instead of arguing from our corners. I’m from Wisconsin and while there are so many issues, the people from this state are, for the most part, kind and good. Keep up the good work ladies!!!!

Great podcast

I am a female police officer, mom, hopeful foster mom, dog mom and community activist from Philadelphia and I love listening to this podcast. This is a gritty, real and down home podcast about life, families and community. I enjoy the point of views about race, religion, politics and ethics. Keeping it real ladies!!! Love it!!

Just keeps getting better

I started by listening to the ones that seemed like I would relate to the guests and now I’m listening to all of them! Even when the topic doesn’t seem like something I’m interested in, I’ve loved all the episodes. The hosts are so relatable and ask such great questions. It really is a great way to understand people on different journeys than our own. I’ve laughed and I’ve cried. Thanks for great podcasts ladies! Keep ‘me coming.
