#WhittierStrong!
This is a pretty cool podcast. The hosts do a good job of interviewing some oval icon of our beautiful city of Whittier, CA. As a local (and as a supporter of our local businesses and artist), I appreciate learning some of the backstory behind the individuals who are making our little city better and better.
This would be five stars if somehow this wasn't an "Explicit"-rated podcast. There is no reason for any sort of foul language with the type of content they are creating. It's not like the episodes are ripe with foul language....just happens occasionally.
I do like the hosts humility and willingness to admit to not knowing much of the subjects. The episode in which Colleen (from the Rusty Monk) is interviewed and shares her passion about beer. The hosts don't know that much at all about it, but they were good sports about it.
Anyways, keep it up - I'm going to keep listening.
Lovell’s
Just listen to the show about Lovell’s record store. I was in there a few years ago with someone who was auditioning for a band and didn’t know that they had a place upstairs where bands could practice. Do they still offer that? You didn’t mention that during your interview so just wondering.
