Season Finale with my husband, Michael: Intimacy with God
Sometimes we get hung up on His love being so much about us and our performance when really it’s all about Him. Join Michael and me for a season finale candid conversation about our walk of intimacy with God.

Adversity
Daughter, you are strong, courageous, radiant, secure, beautiful, brave, loyal, wise, compassionate. You can do hard things. You have done hard things. Adversity is likely the most relatable topic for women today. We wrestle with feeling worthy of unconditional love from God, being the “best” wife, mom, sister, friend, and/or daughter we can be, and stewarding our spiritual gifts to the fullest. This is just to name a few. We wrestle with matters out of our control like employment, finances, health challenges, infertility, loss, hatred...you get the picture. I KNOW every woman tuning in today relates to something I just listed. This broken world is FULL of adversity. We have GOOD NEWS in our faith. Join us today. I know you'll be encouraged.

Idolatry
What are things that get in the way of God being our only “god”? Idolizing ourselves, our loved ones, security (physical or financial), approval or acceptance, relationship status, career advancement, title, health, class, appearance, food, intellect, comfort, affirmation. Why might God warn us against idols? They distract us from Him and not in a way that we eventually work our way back but in a way that we lose sight of God permanently. There is permanence in idolizing things of this world. Today's conversation will leave you empowered to walk hand-in-hand with our one true God and be inspired to live a full life of freedom in Christ.

It’s never too late
I’m 62, and have been a Christian since I was 18. While I’ve lived what I thought was a Christian lifestyle during this interim time, I’m just thankful our God continuously watches out for His lost sheep. Yes, that would be me! I thank God every day for not giving up on me; however, it took witnessing the slow and emotionally painful deterioration of my (our) beautiful mom to the dreadful disease of vascular dementia. One of the beautiful aspects though... I GOT to take care of her! God knew I was really going to need him, which is why I literally cried out to Him in the night, and I knew it was time to rededicated my life to Him, at that very moment.
Brittany, whom I’m proud to declare is my cousin, is so inspirational with her knowledge of scripture! Are you looking to be fed spiritually.... this podcast is a must for you! It’s NEVER too late!🦋
