Sir Isaac Newton - Ace of Reason
Starting off Pride month with an Ace historical figure! There is so little ace/aroace representation out there from history to even now, I wanted to ensure we start Pride right, sharing the sometimes batty life of Sir Isaac Newton. If you only know him as the man who discovered gravity, oh there is so much more and it is brilliant!

Great Race of Mercy
What's this? A good news story from history??? Officially referred to as the 1925 Nome Serum Run, the Great Race of Mercy was an Alaskan dogsled relay that quite literally saved an entire village of children suffering from diphtheria. Yes, yes, we know about Balto, but this story is so much wilder than the cartoon entails, I assure you. Also... Justice for Togo!!!

Mary Toft - The Woman Who Gave Birth to Rabbits
The tale of Mary Toft is a curious one, not because of the event portrayed over the years. Mary Toft was an illiterate, impoverished woman involved in one of the biggest hoaxes in the 18th Century hoodwinking the general public, doctors, surgeons and even King George himself. It's an extraordinary story, one that paints Mary as the villain, but the truth is so much darker, join Katie as she discusses the curious case of Mary Toft.

Customer Reviews
Love listening!!
I love history but lots of books on it are a bit dry and not entertaining. I love how Katie explains everything; it's like listening to a friend tell you a great story! I've learned so much already.
Sir Issac Newton
I didn’t know I could laugh during an Isaac Newton episode but Katie made it possible.
Love all the good dogs
The history of the Iditarod was amazing. I’ve heard the stories before and was a big Jack London fan as a kid. I learned a lot and loved your retelling. I’ve enjoyed other episodes too. Just wish I could listen around my kid. I’ll have to invest in headphones. Love the show.
