Man's Best Friend - Marty Duram and Bud
On this episode of Wife of Crime I'm telling Russ a fascinating case about a man who was murdered and how his pet parrot helped solve his case! Marty Duram had a Parrot named Bud and the two were incredibly close. When Marty was murdered police had no leads so sadly the case would end up going cold... UNTIL Bud started talking! Police heard what Bud had to say and decided to reopen their investigation! Moral of this story... we don't deserve animals!

I discovered this podcast a month ago and couldn't stop listening! Russ is hilarious and often voices exactly what I'm thinking. Jess excels in her research and storytelling, and she's a saint for putting up with Russ. Makes me think of my husband and me.
Sometimes I listen to the podcast at work, and my coworkers give me strange looks when I burst out laughing. They know I'm usually listening to true crime, and they're not used to hearing me laugh because I normally have a strong RBF. This podcast has truly brightened my days.
