The Starving Artist- Julie Kibuishi and Sam Herr

The Starving Artist- Julie Kibuishi and Sam Herr

On this week's episode I tell Russ about the crazy case of Julie Kibuishi and Sam Herr. Police thought this was just another crime of passion. But they quickly realized there was way more to this story, and in fact, would go in a direction they never expected. This case is like something out of a shakespearean drama and it includes a couple more players. It's full of twists and turns with a tragic and unexpected ending. Moral of this story... "All that glitters is not gold, these violent delights have violent ends. Hell is empty and all the devils are here."

Street Justice - The murder of Ken Rex McElroy

Street Justice - The murder of Ken Rex McElroy

We're Back!!! On this week’s episode I tell Russ all about the murder of Ken Rex McElroy. There is nothing worse then a bully and after being terrorized by one for 2 decades the small town of Skidmore Missouri had enough. In 1981, in broad daylight, Ken Rex McElroy was gunned down in front of 60 witness but to this day the case remains unsolved and the people of this town claim that none of them saw a thing. Moral of this story... what goes around most certainly comes around especially if you’re a scumbag POS bully.

Not Me, Not Today!- The takedown of Tommy Lynn Sells

Not Me, Not Today!- The takedown of Tommy Lynn Sells

On this weeks episode, I give you and Russ a 2 for 1 special. A survivor story and serial killer story all rolled into one. Krystal Surles survived the attack of a serial killer and then mustered up the strength to stay alive and help the cops take him down! And by the way... SHE WAS ONLY 10 YEARS OLD! Moral of this story... “ though she be but little, she is fierce!”

When life throws a curve ball - Billy Dillon and James Dvorak

When life throws a curve ball - Billy Dillon and James Dvorak

Check out this week’s episode! I tell Russ the case of Billy Dillon and James Dvorak. Billy was an MLB prospect who was about to be signed by the Detroit Tigers. I’m surprised this case hasn’t gotten more attention or hasn’t been made into a movie yet! Imagine being days away from all your dreams coming true and then in a matter of moments having it all stripped away. Moral of the story.... sometimes life throws a curve ball and you need to do everything you can to stay in the game. #justice4jamesdvorak

Like Father, Like Son - The Weaver's Part 2

On this weeks episode we collaborated with our good friend Margot at Military Murder Podcast!! This is the story of an actual killer blood line.... The Weaver’s. This is a family history that serves as a valid argument for a genetic component being at play in the nature vs nurture debate with regards to psychopathy. Is there really a killer gene?? We discuss it this week! Moral of the story... the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree.

On this week’s episode “How to get away with murder” I take you and Russ back in time to a case from 1946. The case of Evelyn Dick proves that evil comes in even the most attractive forms. Moral of this story... Don’t judge a book by its cover!

BEST TRUE CRIME PODCAST

I’ve listened to every quality true crime podcast over the last two years, and Wife of Crime has quickly become my favorite. I even like it more than Crime Junky. Jess

When you want some light True Crime

Right off the bat, I loved Jess...Russ, not so much. But it didn’t take long for him to win me over by making fun of the Pieces of Sh*t and killing it in the profiling game.

I love how real and relatable this couple is. Also I adore how Jess laughs at Russ. I just want to be their friend and play Dateline drinking games.
