Today’s topic is an important one in my own personal practice. I am highly tied to cats … they are my strongest familiar that have been with me the longest (with Crows
& Ravens coming in a close 2nd). I did a two-part episode on Witchcraft & Cats back in August of last year and today’s Herbal Magic episode on Catnip is another layer to this strong connection – for me.  Catnip (Nepeta cataria) is a perennial herb native to Europe and Asia, known for its distinctive scent and its intriguing effects on cats.
