    Filmmakers James Martin ("The New Orleans Sazerac") and Babacar Ndiaye ("More Than Music: Senegal") discuss their short films which won the Audience Award and WonderRoot Film Award, respectively, at WonderRoot's Generally Local, Mostly Independent Film Series screening in April. Martin delves into the historical background of the sazurac cocktail and why there's so much local interest in the beverage, while Ndaiye gives some insight into the differences in hip-hop culture in Senegal relative to the United States. Both filmmakers end the podcast by shedding some light on some of their best decisions in the past year. What an awesome conversation!

Just another wonderful project by Wonderroot

Wonderroot is always pushing us as artists and individuals to be better at what we do. I am a better artist and a better person thanks to them. Every city in the world should have at least 10 Wonderroots! Long live WR.
