Maintain your confession...it's the key to your success in any area of llife.  Your confession of faith brings about the possession of your supply.  No word in...no word out.  When pressure comes, the word that you put in will come out.  This is why Paul said in Col. 3:16 "Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom, teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord." Admonish means to put in someones mind, reprove gently, or warn. So we must not only remind ourselves but also others to speak only what they want to see and nothing else.  Pro. 19:16 says, "He who keeps the commandments (God's word) keeps his life, but He who despises or is careless about his ways shall die."  Listen as Pastor Terry teaches us the importance of maintaining our victory by maintaing our confession.

God has given us the authority through our words to master our lives.  As we continue to grow up spiritually our speech should follow.  A childs vocabulary isn't like his or her parents vocabulary, however as they grow they begin to sound like their parents.  Children & teenagers will even pick up ways parents say things.  Ephesians 5:1 tells us to "be imitators of God, as dear children.."  Sooner than later our speech should begin to sound like our Father God's words.  The more we speak like God speaks the more we have what He has!  Likewise as some kids in the natural are "go-getters" or "fast learners" we can be that way about spiritual things too.  We have the HG as our helper and teacher.  If we give Him permission to, he will help us to change the way we speak so that we can change our lives.

As Believer's we have been given the authority over the enemy and all his schemes.  We are to rule and reign in this life as Jesus did.  When temptations, tests, and trials come we have a choice:  will we allow ourselves to become discouraged or encouraged by the circumstances?  You see when you KNOW that you win you approach life differently.  You take the Apostle Paul's advice to Timothy (2 Tim. 1:6) and you "stir up the gift of God that is in you" and you "rejoice in the Lord always, and again I say rejoice." (Phil 4:4)  So what will your decision be today?

 In order to live victoriously in this life, our priorities have to be right.  A priority is something given special or prior attention to; takes precedence over others.  The word of God tells us in Matt. 6:33 "Seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness and everything else shall be added unto thee."  Notice the "adding" only comes after we put Him "first" in our lives on a daily basis.  Listen to this message that came straight from the HG that morning.
