Ellie and Liz discuss some of the positive and negative experiences of their year, and how they learned and grew from them. This involves relationships, job experience, and family. While also discussing some themes from the year in society and common life. 

Ellie and Liz discuss why they believe in free will and choice and guest speaker Duncan Murray discusses some of the arguments against the idea of choice. Overall the three discuss life scenarios, luck, and the expectations of science. 

Ellie and Liz discuss the idea of self-love and why it may be difficult to attain, with things like societal pressures and outside influences. While also discussing how loving yourself fully could affect how you treat other individuals and how idolization and personal pet peeves of others could fit in with the idea of self-love. While also briefly discussing the meaning of life and science-based ideas (which segments into next episodes discussion).

Ellie and Liz discuss the concept of deserving, and how the idea of deserving as a child can be detrimental to adulthood.  Liz discusses how deserving play's into God's purpose for you and can follow through your life. Ellie discusses why deserving should not be taught at all and how it does not fit into creating and getting what we want and need in life. As well as talks of their childhoods, and answer small personal questions about one another. 

Ellie and Liz discuss a variety of things in this episode including; Mormonism, politics with the 2016 election, finding your own excellence, and why it is important to be faithful and optimistic no matter your belief system.
