How the US is destroying itself and the world order
Endless and needless wars, coups and color revolutions, violation of international laws, hypocritical application of rules and morality, fake democracy and fake prosperity at home… the US is in big trouble. And so is Europe. My article originally published here: https://sputniknews.in/20240122/how-america-is-destroying-itself-and-the-world-order-6289490.html

Why US GDP-per-capita is misleading
Look at INCOME-per-capita. That’s only $38,000 a year. Also, GDP is based on spending and doesn’t reflect real wealth. Now look at China, where people have saved up $18 trillion in bank accounts. Who’s wealthier?

The Most Misunderstood Sector of the Economy — Manufacturing
Some in the US are now starting to realize that decoupling from China is not so easy after all. The dream of offshoring or near-shoring has been downgraded to de-risking. Why? Manufacturing is more than just cheap labor and assembly. Let’s explore all the myths and demystify manufacturing in this podcast. Manufacturing underpins economic growth, solid middle class population, and national security.
Customer Reviews
Narrow and shallow in scope
Unfortunately, this podcast touches on critical topics like manufacturing and supply chains- but from a partisan viewpoint only. The narrator focuses only on the positive aspects of the Chinese manufacturing and governance machine without any of the criticisms that are well-documented by other sources.
The narrator describes that China is building EVs and charging stations at a record rate- but neglects mentioning that the source of the energy to supply those EVs is predominantly coal. He mentions Xinjiang as the electronics capital of the world- without mentioning the human rights abuses on minorities like the Uighur Muslims. Dorms are built near factories to improve efficiency- by making the workers live in the “company town”.
Very disappointing and I discourage anyone from taking this podcast seriously.
Partisan and non-insightful
This thing is boring and dripping with a propagandist agenda. It is laughably anti-western and devoid of real analysis. No thanks.
Seems angry and spiteful…
Despite the boring droning, he really seems to love China and the yuan. I mean, if you love oppression and a valueless currency, I suppose you’ll love this podcast. He simply rants without facts to support his claims.
