The Natural Man
The practice of yoga and non-attachment lead to the cessation of fluctuations of the mind and our focus on worldly distractions. It takes consistent effort and practice to remain firmly established in one's true nature, putting off the natural man. To attain happiness in this life and the world to come, we need to put off the natural man and build our foundation on the rock of our Redeemer.

Non-attachment and Meditation
Non-attachment is commonly associated with relinquishing our attachments to external things such as material possessions and desires related to them. However, it also pertains to our internal states of mind and emotions. Non-attachment is an important aspect of achieving and maintaining a sense of stillness and tranquility during meditation.
