Yollanda Zhang is the founder and leader of Panda Mandarin, a Mandarin school for children and adults in Toronto, as well the founder of Girl.Strong, an empowerment program for young girls. She joins Dave to discuss her family's journey from China in the mid eighties to the present day and shares what it was like for her family to leave a promising life behind for an unknown future in Canada.
