To some, having a good memory is just something you're born with. Others watch memory champions win quiz shows and think its just a cheap parlour trick. What's the reality? This month, Luki Danukarjanto and I talk about the importance of memory, and why having a better one could be worth a lot more to you than you think. And finally, Luki shows me a few techniques on how to improve my memory!

In the first part of our series on understanding soft skills, Luki Danukarjanto and I talk about the skill of teamwork. What does it really mean to be a good team player and how do we get better at it? Luki offers some strategies for getting to know our fellow team members better.

For the season finale, Kenny rejoins us to conclude his discussion with Dave about his journey to Canada.  He talks about high school, university, and then ending up as an educator. We discuss Kenny fitting in seamlessly high school and then the competitive nature of university, before he finally finds his true calling.

In part 2 of their 3 part converesation, Kenny Ho, high school business teacher and Department Head of Business Studies at St. Elizabeth Catholic High School in Vaughan, Ontario, takes us back to what it was like trying to fit in as a new student in the early years when he first came to Canada from Hong Kong.  He talks about the struggles of being an ESL student and what that meant for him both inside and outside the classroom.
