Your Children Are Watching, What Are They Seeing‪?‬ Momma Has Goals

    • Self-Improvement

Our children are always watching what we do, how we take care of ourselves, and how we show up for other people.
Self-care normally falls to the bottom of the to-do list, but prioritizing things that allow you to grow and expand is such an important thing to model for your little ones. Similarly, how you talk about your body and your abilities starts to shape how they feel about themselves and judge people around them. They’re also tuning into how you interact with your partner, friends, and strangers.
Here’s a journaling exercise to accompany this episode: Write down three things that you are proud of and know that you’re positively leading by example for your children. Share them with me @mommahasgoals!
IN THIS EPISODE, WE TALK ABOUT:
Subtle ways that your children are observing your habits and unconscious behaviorsExamples of self-care that go beyond the bubble baths and face masks How to model healthy body image and eating habits for your children One simple way to help you avoid having a heated conversation in front of your kids Showing your children what it looks like to be a good friend
