Beyond the Weight #265: Love This For You
Join us as we chat about Sandy’s recent birthday celebrations, and we think you’ll agree she celebrated correctly! Then we discuss our on-going and ever-developing thoughts and feelings about body positivity, weight loss, diet culture, and weight loss drugs. Join us as we chat about our recent forays into skin moisturizing . . . Sandy is putting bear fat on her face, and Henny is dousing her fingertips in hand cream. Then we get serious, and we discuss a super interesting documentary on Netflix all about gut health and the microbiome. Our guts are impacting our overall health is a plethora of ways, and the things we eat are vital for maintaining a healthy gut! How many different veggies have you eaten this week?

Beyond the Weight #263: So Darn Charming
Join us as we chat about the process of unwinding oneself when preparing for a move to a different home, job, or life situation. Henny has more to say about The Circle, and we get into a raucous conversation about whether or not a person’s level of charm is connected to their weight. Finally, we discuss a couple of documentaries on Netflix that are really worth checking out if you’re so inclined. Enjoy!

Beyond the Weight #262: It Ruins Me
Join us as we chat about some of the great dishes Sandy has been checking on Instragram and some of the equally great (she hopes) dishes Henny has been making for supper. Sandy wonders aloud about whether or not she’s the only person who doesn’t mind sharing a toothbrush, loofah, or razor (Spoiler alert: She’s not). And Henny is currently obsessed with The Circle and is debating whose pictures she would use on her social profile to ensure she became the most popular player.

Beyond the Weight #261: We Brought A Good One
Join us as we chat about change. We all know that change is inevitable. We all can likely identify ways we’ve changed in the past. We all know we will continue to change lots in the future (although science tells us we underestimate this). We are reminded of the fact that Sandy will always choose breakfast, and Henny tries to convince us that she is truly becoming more agreeable in her older age. Finally, we’ve got a baked penne recipe that you have to make! It’s delicious!

Beyond the Weight #260: My Face Is Talking
Join us as we chat about everything from tickling fetishes to lunchables to how to navigate friend groups. We get into it all! We discuss what to do when we find ourselves in social situations with people we are having trouble connecting with or are irritated by. We also wonder about when (if ever) it’s appropriate to give some constructive criticism related to socializing. Lots to digest here!
