John 17:17-26

Jesus made 5 requests of the Father, on our behalf. We looked at the first 2 requests last Sunday, and the remaining 3 this Sunday.

This Sunday is also the last Sunday with Pastor Terry and the Lee Family, as we celebrate 12 1/2 years of fruitful ministry serving the Lord Jesus Christ.

There is something about the intimacy of family that fits well with the vine & branch imagery Jesus uses to describe the interconnectedness of the Body of Christ.

He is Your permanent companion, constant Advocate (v16-17), and we are NOT abandoned! Rather, He will "teach" (v26) and He brings "peace" (v27).

Jesus wants to spend eternity with you! "I go to prepare a place for you" (v2).
