Former Formula One driver Romain Grosjean returned to the cockpit of an open-wheel racing car in 2021, despite suffering severe burns to his hands following a fiery crash in the Bahrain Grand Prix last November. The Frenchman is completing a partial schedule in the IndyCar Series in America and earlier this month, in only his third race in the sport he claimed a pole position and finished the race on the podium in second place.
