Kings sign Mike Brown to an extension, Boogie wins Finals MVP in Taiwan
Well, it's done. After going through a tumultuous week leaks and speculation, the Kings reached an agreement with Mike Brown on a 3-year extension that keeps him as the Kings head coach through the 2026-27 season. We may have gotten more than we bargained for with seeing how the contract negotiation sausage is made, but what's important is that an extension was reached and we don't have to worry about the Kings Kangzing this one.
On the other side of the world, former King Demarcus Cousin won the Finals MVP in the Taiwan T1 league with his team, the Taiwan Beer Leopards.

The extension talks with head coach Mike Brown and the Kings have officially gone public, is this a good or bad thing, will a deal get done any time soon?
In NBA Playoff news, the Mavs move onto the NBA Finals after beating the Wolves in game 5 to win the series 4-1.
Owen and Fong then go through draft prospects Tristan Da Silva and Cody Williams and see how they would theoretically contribute to the Kings if drafted at 13.

Bill Walton passes, Kings and Mike Brown extension talks, NBA Playoffs update 5/27/24, a wild week of wrestling
It was a sad day for the NBA world as we learned of the passing of NBA legend Bill Walton. There was nothing but praise from every corner of the NBA who recounted just how wonderful of a man he was and how important he was to the game of basketball. He will be missed.
We then move onto the breaking down of talks between Kings head coach Mike Brown and ownership and what that means.
After that we talk about the Celtics sweeping the Pacers and how the Mavs are up 3-0 against the Wolves.
And we end talking about the weekend of wrestling. WWE had King and Queen of the Ring in Saudi Arabia and AEW had Double or Nothing. 2 totally different kinds of wrestling shows but all with different kinds of fun.

Tidjane Salaun and Dalton Knecht scouting report, Pacers blow game 1 in Boston and Mavs steal game 1 in Minny
It's that time of the year for Sac Kings Therapy, it's time to do some draft scouting reports. Here we go through Tidjane Salaun, a 6'9 forward from Chloet Basket in France, and Dalton Knecht, 6'6 guard from Tenessee.
Both players would bring interesting skillsets to the Kings and it will be up to the front office to decided whether or not said skills fit the needs of the Kings.
Owen and Fong then go through some scattered Kings news that came out during the week, and then close with recapping the Games 1s of the Conference Finals.

2024 NBA Playoffs: Pacers beat the Knicks and Wolves shock the Nuggets
It was a wonderful Sunday night as the NBA world was treated to 2 game 7s to end round 2.
The first one was the Pacers beating the Knicks in MSG to end New York's season. The Pacer's offense was on fire and the Knicks didn't have any bodies left to defend them.
The 2nd game 7 was a stunner, as the Wolves come back down 20 to take the crown from the defending champs Nuggets to advance to the Western Conference Finals for only the 2nd time in franchise history. The Wolves defense was sensational and after 7 games finally broke the Nuggets.
Owen and Fong cover all that and in addition throw out a few more free agents the Kings can go after now that more teams have gone fishing.

Kings get the 13th pick, Cavs lose in 5, Wolves-Nuggets go to a game 7, TNT losing the NBA?
The Draft gods did not shine upon the Kings as they did not move up to the top 4 in the 2024 NBA draft. Not all is lost however, there's still plenty that can be done with the pick, and Owen and Fong discuss some of the possibilities, including using the pick.
We also discuss the Cavs losing their series against the Celtics and what that means for them this offseason. We also make our pick of who we think will win game 7 of Nuggets vs Wolves.
And lastly, we discuss the possibility of the TNT losing the NBA and what that could mean for Inside the NBA.
And as a bonus, Owen talks about a myriad of different topics including his thoughts on Jokic dominating in game 5, Haliburton's struggles in his game 5 and Bronny James in the draft.
